Tenute Silvio Nardi is the story of two territories in the timeless panoramas of Montalcino and breath-taking views on Val d’ Orcia. Two unique worlds, – Casale del Bosco and Manachiara – which merge in the plural name of the winery.
Brunello di Montalcino appellation territory is a squared area and Tenute Silvio Nardi is present on two sides of it; the North-West slope, the original core of the property in Casale del Bosco where Silvio Nardi arrives in 1950 and the South-East estate, bought in 1962. Different altitudes, climates and soils but same woods of Mediterranean scrub and holm oaks, symbols of Montalcino. Woods are often the borders of vineyards, creating little isolated systems.

In both estates of the property, punctuated by old farmhouses and where crops and olive trees alternate to vineyards, Sangiovese grosso reigns as the autochthonous variety of this piece of land, so precious for Tuscan and worldwide viticulture.
